How far will you sacrifice just for love?

Maybe for some, it’s a stupid question.

But for someone, like me, who doesn’t been in love all her life, it’s a tough question.

Yes, at my age, I never been in love even I already had a boyfriend.

But that’s not the topic of my post.

Moving back.

I watched a movie entitled: Jack and the cuckoo clock heart and suddenly it hit me. The story is not a very deep one like ‘A walk to remember’ or ‘The Notebook’. But it still caught my attention, and even broke my heart.

The story is very simple.

Jack was born with a weak heart. For him to survive, the midwife replaced his heart with a clock. His mother abandoned him after giving birth, so the midwife raised him as a son she never had. She guide and loved him. She also made three rules for Jack to survive. And guess what? One of the rules is not to fall in love. But of course, he did fall in love.

Sadly, even the movie didn’t literally showed it, his delicate heart stop upon receiving his true love’s kiss.

I’m not supposed to be mad or disappointed by this because killing is my specialty. I love my characters to die in the most painful way possible.

But with this, I guess I’m still a kid inside. A kid who still believe in happily ever after and Prince Charming.

Just a Fan!

I love watching Supernatural! Simply because, I am bewitch by the charm of the Winchester’s brothers.

What’s not to love, right?

I can still remember the first time I watched season 1. Oh, how I love to own a black 1967 Chevrolet Impala that time just to eat a bacon cheeseburger inside of it — Dean-style.

Obviously, I’m a big fan!

But one thing I can tell you, from season 1 to 9, I never had a favorite episode. Na dah!

Hate episode, if there’s such a word, yes. And one of it is, when they killed the good ol’ man Bobby. I swear I cried on that episode.

Moving on.

But now, I can happily announce that I already found my favorite episode – Episode 5 of Season 10. Not because the story is great. No! No! And No! It’s not. But I love how the kid’s put up the show with their songs. Especially the “Carry On Wayward Son” song, I could feel the deep emotion of the kids that just literally saying the words, that the two brothers can’t say to one another.

I love it!

One thing just surprised me when Chuck, the prophet, showed up at the end of the play. Well, I admit, I’m happy about it because he’s one of my favorite character. But I just want to know, why? What’s his purpose on Season 10 this time?

One conclusion I have, based on my observation, he just want to awaken the spirit of Sam and Dean to continue their job as hunters.

Whatever the reason of his presence is, I just hope they can deliver it good. Because my excitement on this season is at its peak. I just don’t want to be disappointed.

That’s all.

Challenge Accepted

When I read this post of What can you #write in Ten #Sentences? on Daily (w)rite’s blog, I immediately thought, why not!

I love exercises! NOT THE PHYSICAL ONE LOL

Not only it challenge my skills, but me as a person. For the people who knows me, they knew that I always doubted myself. And worst, underestimated my capabilities with the fear that I may not do well. But now, I am more of a risk-taker. And one way to prove it is to accept challenges like this.

The exercise is to: “Write a scene of ten sentences and include in each sentence a numeral. If you’ve reached ten sentences and you’d like to keep going, you can make this a scene of twenty sentences, or thirty — the idea is just to write within this pattern. Example: On the day my town flooded, I was ten years old. It was four o’clock in the morning. In the darkness, right before I heard the water coming, two roosters crowed.”

And here is my attempt:

I thought, love is one choice that I will never take.

But 30 years later, I met you and everything I believe has changed.

I can still remember the first time we met at the Seven crown coffee shop. It was a busy day back then, everyone seemed to be minding their own business when you came in and ordered two soy latte and a blueberry cheesecake.

I never noticed you then, not until you approached me and offered me one of your soy latte and the blueberry cheesecake.

I was surprised because no one ever dared to interrupt me before. But when I look up to you, fifteen people from the coffee shop suddenly become a blur, and all I can see is you.

And from then on, the two of us are inseparable.

And 25 months of happiness later, we said ‘I do’. I swear I can still hear the angels singing from above, when we said those two magical words.

What do you think?

If it’s not good, I hope I can still get an A for my effort :p

That Awkward Moment 2

#ThatAwkwardMoment when you opened the door and realized that you just interrupted a meeting. And the worst part, with all the people around you, your eyes only stuck on your crush which by the way is also looking straight on you.

The Bad and The Good

Normally, we always state the good before the bad. But for this, it’s more appropriate to state the bad first.

And here it goes.

It’s difficult to have a blog. You have to update it all the time, make sure your content is interesting for people to continue to visit it, place it in all of your social media accounts to spread the word, and most important is, persuade your readers and visitors to interact with you.

The latter is the most challenging for me. I know people are visiting me, but for some reasons, they don’t leave me any comments. I’m starting to question myself now. Does my posts are not interesting enough for them to ask questions? Or, simply they are not interested on my blog at all?

It’s hard to get an answer. I even asks an expert’s advice just to get an answer. She’s helpful actually. But I still feel bad about this.

But I’m not here to rant about this (even I already did)

I’m here with a good news! When I opened my blog last friday, here what I saw:

Another 20 followers! Yoohoo!

You never knew how happy I am when I received this. I know 20 isn’t a big number compare to others that hit their 100’s. But it’s a good progress. It just means that others, maybe not all, do appreciate my posts and stories.

And from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU! You definitely inspire me to write more.

Love you all.
